At Greg Pennicott Safaris our Buffalo Concession consists of
more than 6 million acres of remote unspoilt
frontier. In fact, one flood plain alone is
estimated to consist of more than 100,000
acres of pure, open wilderness.
Situated in North-East Arnhem Land and bordering the
sea, it offers arguably the best Buffalo Hunting in
the Northern Territory of Australia, while
also offering some great fishing.
Our season
begins around mid May through to the end of
September. A typical hunt runs for 5
days (six nights).
A typical
hunt presents 2 or 3 opportunities per day
to bag a Trophy Bull and sometimes, Trophy
Boars are also encountered. Plus,
plenty of photographic opportunities.
It is not uncommon to see literally hundreds
of buffalo grazing out on the flood plains,
while in search of a trophy bull.
Early
season hunts can be cool at night, while
late season hunts are usually warm to hot.
